My time in the MSN roleplay group gulags has me wondering how best to go about replicating it.

Discord servers just aren't the same as being able to make a separate messenger account for Blorbo McGee to fully get immersed. As in, once you log into, you're Blorbo McGee, IMing your pals, meeting up "face to face" in singles or group chats, doing shit that has IC consequences, everyone's got their own things going on, one on one chats weren't public and people's characters were sometimes blind-sided by this or that, persistent world bluh bluh type shit.

#It doesn't help that a lot of people are mobile-only these days sigh.#I guess a combination of Discord and Chatzy...#But the best part about the MSN groups--when you felt like being IC you logged into those separate accounts #And who's gonna make a full ass separate Discord--?#not me #MSN had a hack that let you log into multiple and they didn't take as much CPU as Discord does #I miss the old days waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh #I guess a website could function similarly #AniRoleplay is an option >:?#Messages are private. Statuses exist for group messages. Blog posts could be face to face things??#The problem with that is a lot of sites I used to use to advertise these things don't like it when you try advertising other sites #And that probably counts #hurrrrrgh
